4TH MARCH 2026: TRENTINO SKI SUNRISE CIAMPAC

The first rays of sunshine that illuminate the Dolomite peaks, the authentic flavors of a 100% Val di Fassa breakfast, the noise of the ski bindings engaging, the emotion of the edges that plow the freshly groomed slope: you too will be able to experience it and leave your mark on the Sella Brunech!

The appointment is for Wednesday 4 March 2026, at the cable car station, which is exceptionally open for the occasion. Once you reach an altitude of 2,000 metres, you will go up again by chairlift, until you reach the most panoramic point from which to admire the sunrise: Sella Brunech, with a view of Catinaccio, Marmolada and the Sella Group.

SCHEDULE

5:30 AM – Meet at the Ciampac cable car departure point in Alba di Canazei. Set your alarm and be on time, the cable car will have an exceptional ride for you and the other participants in this fantastic experience.

5:45 AM – Everyone aboard the cable car, off we go! As you ascend, you’ll admire the valley with its illuminated villages and begin to glimpse the Dolomite peaks surrounding Alba and Canazei. Going up, the enchantment intensifies, as you’re about to reach an exceptional panoramic balcony.

6:20 AM – Here we are at the “Sella Brunech“! Breathe the crisp morning air and look around: the Sella Group, the Colac, the Marmolada—all the Dolomites come to life with the first rays of sunshine. The instructors from the Canazei Marmolada Ski School will help you recognize the mountains, explaining their characteristics and revealing some interesting facts.

6:50 AM – It’s time to put on your skis: strap on your boots and off you go, the “Sella Brunech” is yours! Slalom down the velvet slope and leave your mark.

7:30 AM – It’s time for breakfast! Stop at the Crepa Neigra Refuge, where you’ll discover the most authentic products of the Fassa Valley and Trentino. Enjoy a delicious breakfast, including local cheeses and cured meats, as well as honey and jams, yogurt and homemade cakes, fresh milk, eggs, and Trentino apples.

From 8:30 AM – Like a true athlete, you’re ready to continue skiing on the beautiful slopes of the Ciampac ski area.
