SUNRISE AND SUNSET EXPERIENCES AT CIAMPAC IN VAL DI FASSA

The incredible phenomenon of Enrosadira, which causes the Dolomites to glow red at sunrise and sunset, is really breathtaking. Every day is a new experience, filled with new emotions and ever-changing colors. If you’re spending your holidays in the Dolomites, you absolutely can’t miss one of the many sunrise and sunset events to enjoy this unique natural spectacle. Here are a few ideas!

  • SNOWSHOE HIKE WITH APERITIF AT SUNSET: The third snowshoe walk with an Alpine guide will take place on Monday, January 26th in the afternoon, concluding at the Crepa Neigra Mountain Refuge with a tasty reward: a rich traditional aperitif with a glass of wine and delicious platters of cured meats and cheeses, all accompanied by the warmth of the sun enveloping the peaks of the Sella Group and the Colac.

  • BEHIND THE SCENES OF SKIING: On the second Tuesday of February and March the activity “Behind the Scenes of Skiing” is organized: An unmissable event with true snowmaking and snowcat experts. Thanks to their experience and, above all, their passion, they can’t wait to share all the secrets of their work, as well as interesting facts about snowmaking, avalanche risk and snow grooming. We look forward to seeing you on February 10th and March 10th for this exciting meeting, which will conclude at sunset with a group toast.
  • ENROSADIRA TIME: Another exclusive opportunity to experience the thrill of a high-altitude sunset after a guided snowshoe hike in the splendid Ciampac valley. On Thursday, February 26, the Val di Fassa festival “Enrosadira Time” will also stop at Ciampac and, as always, this event will conclude with a delightful aperitif overlooking the Sella, Piz Boè, Crepa Neigra, and Colac.

  • TRENTINO SKI SUNRISE: The most exclusive sunrise event returns on Wednesday, March 4th, allowing you to take the lifts early in the morning, admire the enchanting first light of day from the Sella Brunech panoramic point and ski on still-perfect slopes before they open to the public. What makes this experience so unique? The wonder of the Enrosadira illuminating the mountains around you with splendid colors, the precious advice of ski instructors, the chance to leave your mark on the still-pristine slopes, and, of course, a hearty breakfast at the refuge to recharge your batteries and get ready for a wonderful day at high altitude.
