Renowned via ferrata for experts that allows you to climb to the top of Mount Colac (2715 metres), the west side of the mountain to be exact. From the mountain station of the Ciampac cable car, descend slightly to the lake, from where the zigzag path starts. Thus, you get to the place where there is the commemorative plaque, that is the beginning of the via ferrata.
For the descent a) you can walk towards Forcia Neigra (2508 metres) and then return to the Ciampac basin or b) go along the Val Contrin to Alba di Canazei.
